A St. Petersburg police officer was arrested for selling marijuana

Victor Shcherbyny, a St. Petersburg police officer was arrested on August 26 in a case involving the sale of about 500 grams of marijuana.

According to investigators, he repeatedly organized the sale of drugs cannabis, weighing at least 193.3 grams and 299.6 grams and received a reward of at least 85,000 rubles for this activity.

Shcherbyna partially admitted his guilt. The defense asked to put the policeman under house arrest, as he has no previous convictions and has a young child.
