Court names amount of fines for Telegram, Facebook and Twitter for refusal to remove banned content

Telegram faces a fine of 16 million rubles ($219,680)
Facebook – 40 million rubles ($549,200)
Twitter – 16 million rubles ($219,680)

Previously, companies have already been fined for refusing to remove banned material.
Facebook – 32 million rubles ($439,360)
Telegram – 23 million rubles ($315,790)
Twitter – 5.5 million rubles ($75,515)

Court hearings will be held on September 14, 2021.
