Volzhsk resident fined 30,000 rubles for commenting on coronavirus vaccine in social networking site

Volzhsk resident Olga Aseinova was fined 30,000 rubles ($412.20) for a comment in the VKontakte social network that the coronavirus vaccination promotes infection with the disease.

Aseinova was found guilty of spreading knowingly false information on the Internet.

According to media reports, the woman left a comment on a post in the “News Yoshkar-Ola” group in “VKontakte”. He wrote that the vaccination against coronavirus contributes to the infection of people with the disease, as well as deaths from it.

Later, the woman clarified that she did not distribute inaccurate information, but expressed her opinion.
