A sixth grader opened fire at a school in Perm Krai

On the morning of October 18 in Sars settlement near Perm a 12-year-old teenager opened fire at school with a hunting carbine.

The teenager fired two shots into the wall and the ceiling, after which he was detained. The incident happened before school started, no one was injured.

At the time of the shooting there were more than 330 people in the school, all of them independently left the school building.

According to the regional government, the teenager was disarmed by the school principal, who persuaded him to go into her office for a talk and hand over the weapon.
