A policeman attacked a Moscow resident in her apartment with the words “I am the authorities here”

Alexander Burdenyuk, police lieutenant of the Alekseevsky district, wanted to search the apartment in search of Dmitry, who is an enlisted soldier.

According to the Committee against Torture, only Diana Maltseva and her two children were in the apartment.
She asked to see the document, on the basis of which the search was going to be carried out. Instead, the policeman twisted Maltseva’s arms and entered the apartment.

Maltseva also asked to see her ID card, after which Lieutenant Burdeniuk took out his document and hit the woman on her right cheek, accompanying this with the phrases “I am the authorities here!”, “Are you all mixed up here?”, “I will put you all down here!”.

Because of these actions the one-year-old daughter of Maltseva started crying, in spite of this the lieutenant of police started an examination of the room and confiscated the passport of the second child, her 18-year-old son Maltseva.

After Maltseva’s husband arrived, the police lieutenant returned the passport to Maltseva’s son and left the apartment.

Maltseva went to the trauma clinic, where she was diagnosed with soft tissue contusion of the cheek area, contusion of the left wrist joint and abrasions of the right hand.
