Moscow teenager sentenced to 4.5 years in case of violence against National Guardsman at January 23 rally

According to investigators, Maxim Lelikov “struck a Rosgvardia officer in the leg area” while in the vicinity of Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street.

Lelikov is accused of using violence against a police officer. The prosecutor of Moscow’s Tver court asked for 4.5 years in an educational colony.

On the day of the rally Lelikov was 17 years old and had turned 18 by the time of his arrest. The court at the time refused to impose house arrest on him, releasing him under a ban to leave the house at night and to correspond on the Internet.
