The court refused to remove the “Rain” TV channel from the register of “foreign agents”

The Zamoskvoretsky District Court refused to remove the TV channel Rain from the “foreign agents” register.

The Ministry of Justice put “Rain” TV channel on the list of “foreign agents” in August 2021.

In November of the same year, a lawsuit was filed against the Ministry of Justice. The court refused to demand documents from Rosfinmonitoring proving foreign funding.

The channel’s editorial board intends to appeal the court decision.
