Court in Moscow fined Twitter and Meta Platforms for failure to remove banned content

A magistrate judge of the Tagansky district court district of Moscow fined the company Twitter 10 million rubles ($135,650) and Meta Platforms 13 million rubles ($176,345) for failure to remove prohibited content.

The court fined the companies under the article on violation of the order of access to information. Previously the companies had already received fines. Also previously Google and Telegram were fined under the same article.
