Roskomnadzor demanded that YouTube unblock the German-language channel RT DE.

The regulator sent a letter to Google LLC demanding that the channel be unblocked and explaining the reason for the blocking. The letter said that the actions of the video hosting site violate the principles of free dissemination of information and unimpeded access to it.

According to Roskomnadzor, YouTube has restricted access to Russian media and their materials 25 times since the beginning of 2020.
