Video blogger Yuri Khovansky appealed to the European Court of Human Rights against his detention and arrest.
Khovansky has been in pre-trial detention since June on a case of justification of terrorism.
Khovansky was arrested as part of a criminal case opened over his performance of a song about the hostage-taking during the musical “Nord-Ost”.
According to the investigation, the blogger performed it during a live broadcast in 2018. Khovansky claims that he performed the song only in November 2012.
