An official investigation will begin over a video of 25-year-old electrician Evgeny Ipatov from Adler about a beating at the police station, which he recorded before his death.

Ipatov told the media that on September 22, two police officers detained him in the entranceway, where he was called to repair outlets, and took him to the police department. There, according to the electrician, he was beaten and demanded to confess to stealing 60,000 from the house of a couple of pensioners he had worked for before.
On September 29, Ipatov’s body was found headless on the railroad tracks between Khosta and Adler.
