The Moscow City Court liquidated the human rights organization Memorial

The oldest human rights organization, Memorial, was liquidated by the Moscow City Court.
This was reported by Mash.

The official reason was a violation of the law on foreign agents, the lack of labeling on publications. Also in the work of “Memorial” were found signs of justification of terrorism and endorsement of extremism.

“Memorial” is an organization founded on January 28, 1989, whose mission was originally to investigate political repression in the Soviet Union.
