Australian authorities have authorized entry into the country for people vaccinated with the Russian COVID-19 Sputnik V vaccine.
The one-component vaccine, Sputnik Lite, is not covered by this decision.

The regulator stated that it had recently received additional information about the effectiveness of the Russian drug.

The Russian Sputnik V vaccine has not yet been approved by the World Health Organization and the EU regulator.

The other day, WHO representative in Russia Melita Vujnovic said that on December 30, the Russian Direct Investment Fund transferred all necessary documentation to the World Health Organization to continue the approval procedure for the Sputnik V drug.
