North Korea launched an “unidentified missile object”

Today’s launch was the seventh North Korean missile test this year.

The media point out that Pyongyang’s increased regional military activity coincides with China’s latest preparations for the Winter Olympics.

The United States condemned today’s missile launch by North Korea. The command estimated that the test posed no immediate threat to U.S. territory, personnel or allies.
