The Investigative Committee of Russia began an inspection of the International Memorial Society.
The movement “Veterans of Russia” demanded that Memorial be prosecuted for rehabilitating Nazism.
In an open letter, representatives of the movement stated that they had discovered 19 more “Nazi accomplices with the blood of civilians on their hands” in the list of victims of political repression compiled by Memorial.
Earlier, Veterans of Russia complained in October 2021 about rapper Morgenstern questioning the need to spend millions on Victory Day celebrations.
