Nikita Uvarov, 16, from Krasnoyarsk Territory, was sentenced by a military court to 5 years in prison for training for terrorist activities.

Three 14-year-old high school students were detained in 2020 after posting flyers in support of bomb-making suspect Azat Miftakhov. One of the flyers ended up on the FSB building.

Officers of the agency took away children’s phones and got access to correspondence in which they spoke negatively about the Russian authorities and law enforcement agencies. The schoolchildren also built the FSB building in the Minecraft computer game and “planned to blow it up for a joke”.
That is why the case became widely known as the “case of the explosion of the FSB building in Minecraft”.
