People in Europe are collecting humanitarian aid for Ukrainian refugees

In many countries, people are collecting humanitarian aid for Ukrainians, providing them with free housing and food, as well as helping with documents.

There are so many people willing to help that some collections are already limited.

Volunteers are primarily asked to bring hygiene products, canned and loose food, food for children and clothing.

In Warsaw, food for refugees is collected at Auchan Hypermarkets.

A working group under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Moldovan government, with the help of volunteers, provides refugees from Ukraine with transportation, housing and identifies necessary goods and services.

In Berlin, many residents bring basic necessities to the Georgian cafe Kin Za.

There are many people willing to help. Non-profit organizations across Europe regularly report receiving all necessary items.

According to the UN, the number of refugees from Ukraine has exceeded 1.5 million in the last ten days. This was reported by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi.
