The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the introduction of personal sanctions against US President Joe Biden, his son Hunter, US State Department chief Anthony Blinken and other high-ranking US officials. They are banned from entering the country.

The sanctions list includes former State Department head Hillary Clinton, Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki, his national security adviser Jake Sullivan, and CIA head William Burns.

Entry restrictions were imposed in response to U.S. sanctions against top Russian officials, civil servants, and the president.
Previously, sanctions against almost all members of the Russian parliament and key sectors of the economy were imposed in response to Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
