Biden meets Ukrainian Foreign Minister in Warsaw

US President Joe Biden met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov in Warsaw.

The meeting was also attended by U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Pentagon head Lloyd Austin.

Biden arrived in Poland from Brussels, where he took part in NATO and G7 summits. He also held talks with the EU leadership. The U.S. president and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, in particular, announced a plan to create a working group to reduce Europe’s dependence on Russian energy resources.

Oleksiy Reznikov said that current issues and cooperation in the political and defence areas between Ukraine and the USA were discussed during the meeting.
