Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the UN Security Council.
In a video address, Zelensky called on the Security Council participants to seek full accountability for the crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine.
He also spoke in detail about the events in Bucha, where, as he noted, entire families were killed “without a second thought”.
Zelenskyy called the Bucha massacre “the worst war crimes” since World War II.
The Ukrainian president called on the UN Security Council not only to promote immediate tightening of sanctions against Moscow, but also to expel Russia from the Security Council.
A day earlier, Zelensky had visited Bucha.
The Russian Defense Ministry denies all accusations of killing civilians. The ministry said in a statement that all the photos and videos were provocations and “staged by the Kiev regime for the Western media.”
