Ukrainians deported to Russia will be able to return home without passports – Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk

Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk said on the air of the telethon that the Ukrainians who were taken to the territory of Russia, who can reach the border with Ukraine, will be allowed into the country without documents. She is quoted by the publication "Ukrainian Truth".

“We are now developing routes along which free vehicles will run to help Ukrainians without money and without passports. There are simply no passports, they are taken away in these filtration camps,” explains Vereshchuk. – We will help to get to Ukraine. It will be Estonia, Latvia. From this side, the largest flow of deportees returns. Our borders with the Russian Federation are closed, but we have an agreement with the border guards, if the Ukrainians manage to reach the border with Ukraine, we will let them through even without passports, without identity documents. The main thing is to find a way to return home, call us – we will help with tickets, with passport documents, ”she adds.
