Russia recognized the attack on Kyiv on June 26. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense claims that the residential building was destroyed by a Ukrainian missile.

The Russian Defense Ministry recognized the strike on Kiev, which was inflicted on June 26. The agency claims that the strikes were carried out on the shops of the Artem plant, where missiles are produced, while the residential building was allegedly destroyed by a Ukrainian missile.

“On June 26, the Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the shops of the Artem Rocket-Building Corporation in the Shevchenkovsky district of Kyiv with four high-precision air-launched missiles. This enterprise produced ammunition for Ukrainian multiple launch rocket systems. According to objective control data, all four missiles reached their target. The object is hit. The civilian infrastructure of the city of Kyiv was not damaged as a result of the use of high-precision weapons.

The Ministry of Defense also claims that more than 10 anti-aircraft missiles were used by Ukrainian crews of S-300 and Buk M1 anti-aircraft missile systems.

“Due to the lack of interface between launchers of air defense systems and radio equipment located in urban areas, two S-300 anti-aircraft missiles were shot down in the air by Ukrainian Buk. Presumably one of the downed anti-aircraft missiles fell on a residential building.

On June 26, Kiev was subjected to rocket fire. The shell hit a nine-story residential building in the Shevchenko district, the top three floors were destroyed. As a result of the shelling of a residential building, at least one person was killed, two were hospitalized. The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said that a seven-year-old girl was pulled out from under the rubble. Now rescuers are trying to get her mother out, who was reportedly crushed by a concrete slab. Under the rubble, according to Klitschko, people can remain.
