Russia will sell Ukrainian grain from Zaporozhye to the countries of the Middle East

Russia intends to supply grain from the occupied Zaporozhye to the countries of the Middle East. This was stated in an interview with TASS by the head of the military-civil administration Evgeny Balitsky, appointed by the Russian authorities.

According to Balitsky, Russia plans to sell this grain to Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia. At the same time, one of the largest contracts was signed with Iran – for the supply of 150,000 tons of grain.

According to the estimates of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, since the beginning of the war, Russia has stolen and exported at least 400,000 tons of Ukrainian grain.

On July 3, Turkey stopped a Russian-flagged cargo ship off the Black Sea coast to investigate a Ukrainian claim that it was transporting stolen grain.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on July 5 that Russia had established two humanitarian corridors in the Black and Azov Seas for grain exports. “A set of measures is being taken to ensure the safety of navigation in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. The mine danger in the water area of the Mariupol port has been completely eliminated, ”RIA Novosti quotes him.
