The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested Andrey Grudzinsky, head of the scientific center for high technologies for creating weapons of military and special equipment of the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences (RARAN). At the end of June, in Novosibirsk, FSB officers detained the scientist Dmitry Kolker, who was in charge of the laboratory of quantum optical technologies at Novosibirsk State University, right in the hospital. He was accused of "treason". At the hospital, Kolker was undergoing treatment – he had the last stage of cancer.
A few days later, another scientist was arrested in Novosibirsk – the chief researcher of the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ITAM) of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Maslov. He, like Kolker, was accused of "treason."
July 3 Kolker died. “The FSB killed my father. Knowing what condition he was in, they pulled him out of the hospital. Thank you country! They didn't even let our family say goodbye. Damn. Investigator Morozov, Novosibirsk judge and the entire state machine, I hope you will answer for your actions. Two days were enough for you to kill a man, and now my family and I are without a father, ” wrote the scientist’s son Maxim Kolker on his VKontakte page.
