Navalny’s associates set up an international anti-corruption organization

The associates of Alexei Navalny created the Anti-Corruption Foundation International, an international non-profit organization to combat corruption.

Its supervisory board includes former Belgian Prime Minister and MEP Guy Verhofstadt, publicist and Pulitzer Prize winner Anne Applebaum, philosopher Francis Fukuyama and Yulia Navalnaya.

The first contribution to the existence of the fund will be the Sakharov Prize awarded to Navalny by the European Parliament (50 thousand euros).

In 2021, the Anti-Corruption Foundation created in Russia was declared an extremist organization and liquidated by a court decision.

Navalny himself is in a strict regime colony in the Vladimir region.
