As a result of the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the base of the Russian military in Nova Kakhovka, 150 people were killed. This was announced by the representative of the Odessa Regional Military Administration (OVA) Sergey Bratchuk.
According to him, among the dead were a general and 5 officers: “After HIMARS missiles hit the headquarters in the Kherson region, the chief of staff of the 22nd Army Corps of the RF Armed Forces (military unit 73954, Simferopol), Major General Nasibulin, died. Colonel Kens, whose death we reported yesterday, also died there. And besides him – the commander of the 20th motorized rifle division (military unit 22220, Volgograd), Colonel Andrey Gorobets, the head of the operational department of the headquarters of the 20th motorized rifle division, Lieutenant Colonel Koval, the head of artillery of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division, Lieutenant Colonel Gordeev.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a warehouse in the occupied Nova Kakhovka on July 11.
“People's windows are flying out, but they are still happy … Because it means that the APU is close. However, residents of Novokakhovka, please take care of yourself and do not come close to the detonation site. Hang in there! Although Rusnya will again say that it is only cotton,” wrote Serhiy Khlan, adviser to the head of the Kherson OVA.
