Timati will become a partner of a businessman associated with the Podolsk organized crime group in the Russian Starbucks coffee chain

Rapper Timati, the Sindika company of Senator Arsen Konakov and businessman Anton Pinsky bought the Russian assets of Starbucks, now they own all 130 establishments of the network. Pinsky spoke about this in an interview with Forbes. He did not disclose the terms of the deal.

Earlier, The Insider published an investigation, which reports that Pinsky is connected with another Russian businessman Mikhail Danilov, both appear in the Spanish criminal case. Investigators believe that they invested in the business of “leaders of the Podolsk criminal syndicate Boris Ivanyuzhenkov and Maxim Lalakin.

Thanks to the efforts of Danilov and Pinsky, the Novikov Isla SL company appeared in Spain, through which the Avocado Queen restaurant was opened in Ibiza. According to the Spanish Ministry of Internal Affairs, the “Podolsky” invested at least three million euros in this restaurant, after which the restaurant also received funds that raised questions from law enforcement officers. Starbucks announced it was pulling out of the Russian market shortly after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. According to Vedomosti, the new owners will have the right to lease all areas of Starbucks coffee shops with repairs, but will not be able to use the brand's technologies. The buyer of the network will have to carry out its rebranding by analogy with McDonald's (renamed to "Tasty – and that's it!"). The new owners will also receive premises in the Pushkino Park shopping center owned by the company.
