In Ukraine, Kirill Stremousov, an assistant to a representative of the occupying "authorities" of the Kherson region, was sentenced to five years in prison. This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

According to the SBU, the woman spread calls for the restoration of the USSR. According to TASS, the occupying "authorities" of the Kherson region have not yet commented on the message about the verdict.

After Russia occupied the Kherson region, former mayor of Kherson Vladimir Saldo, former deputy mayor for social and humanitarian issues Sergei Cherevko, and director of the Tavria News news agency Kirill Stremousov began to cooperate with the Russian military.

In March, they formed the collaborationist "supreme authority" of the Kherson region – the "Committee of Salvation for Peace and Order." At the same time, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office declared Stremousov a suspect in the case of high treason.
