Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said that if the threats of an attack on the Crimea from Kyiv are realized, then for all the inhabitants of Ukraine there will come a judgment day at once, from which it will be difficult to hide. He made such a statement at a meeting with veterans of the Great Patriotic War held in Volgograd on the anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad. According to Medvedev, the Ukrainian authorities “are trying to snap back, and some exalted bloody clowns who periodically pop up there with some statements are also trying to threaten us, I mean an attack on Crimea.”
“In this regard, I want to say that it is quite obvious that they understand the consequences of such statements, and the consequences are obvious that if something like this happens, for all of them there will come judgment day at once, very fast and difficult, it will be very difficult to hide difficult,” added the deputy head of the Security Council.
Earlier, a representative of the military intelligence department of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Vadim Skibitsky, admitted that Ukrainian troops could use high-precision American HIMARS rocket launchers to strike Russian targets in Crimea. This was reported by the Russian service of the BBC.
According to Skibitsky, the Crimean peninsula is now used as a hub for the movement of invaders, and clusters of Russian military and equipment can often be seen on its territory. He also said that the Russian Black Sea Fleet, which, according to him, is regularly used for rocket attacks on Ukraine, could become a target for Ukrainian missile defense systems.
