The Investigative Committee opened a fake case against Deputy Helga Pirogova immediately after the order of the head of the Investigative Committee Bastrykin.
“It has been preliminary established that on July 15, 2022, the deputy of the Council of Deputies of the city of Novosibirsk, Helga Pirogova, published in one of the social networks, under the guise of a reliable message, deliberately false information containing data on the use of the Russian Armed Forces. Investigators are carrying out a complex of investigative actions aimed at collecting and consolidating the evidence base in a criminal case, ”the Investigative Committee website says.
We are talking about Pirogova's tweet about Russians who signed a short-term contract and died in Ukraine:
“It’s simply inexpressible, I want to revive them all, hit them hard on the cheeks and let them go back to the graves. And then in vain, or something, they arranged such a luxurious funeral, ”she wrote.
On July 21, Pirogova was detained in Novosibirsk at the exit of a bar where a charity auction was held to raise money for fines. She was released a few hours later. A protocol was drawn up against the deputy for “discrediting” the Russian army.
