Sberbank announced an increase in the tariff for notification of card transactions – the price of the service will increase by 10 rubles and from August 1 will be from 40 to 70 rubles, depending on the type of customer card. This is reported by TASS with reference to the bank's message.
The bank explains the decision to increase the tariff by “doubling the volume of business over the past five years”, noting an increase in the transaction activity of customers and, accordingly, the number of notifications sent to customers.
“From August 1, the cost of the bank's service “transaction notifications” will change. Depending on the type of card, it will be 40 or 70 rubles per month. The increase in cost occurs for the first time in twenty years of the existence of the service and will amount to 10 rubles, ”the agency quotes the message of the largest bank in Russia.
The bank claims that, in addition to the growth in the number of transactions and the load on information systems, the service itself has now also fundamentally changed: push notifications, notifications on deposits / accounts and the ability to manage the service in the Sberbank Online mobile application have been added.
Only those customers who subscribed to SberPrime+ can avoid paying for notifications. Also, notification fees are disabled for credit card users and some premium bank customers. In addition, those customers who spend at least 75 thousand rubles per month on the card or store more than 150 thousand on it can receive free notifications.
