In Magnitogorsk, the municipal educational institution "Evening (shift) school No. 1" was closed, which was the only evening school in the city. Now those who wish to complete their secondary education can do so only in the colony. The local publication Verstov.Info writes about this.
The information was confirmed by the Department of Education. According to "Verstov.Info", the department "verbally" explained that the only evening school in the city remained in IK-18. However, it is intended only for prisoners.
Night school is attended by adults who were unable to complete secondary education in their youth. Also, high school students who did not get along in their school or were forced to start working are trained there.
Now adult residents of Magnitogorsk will be able to complete their secondary education only on their own. To do this, they need to attach themselves to a regular high school. The training will take place in the form of an external study. Students will have to pass it on their own, confirming it with a final certification. Another option is training outside organizations that carry out educational activities, that is, in the order of family education and self-education.
