State Duma deputy asks FSB to ban Bi-2 from entering Russia

Dmitry Kuznetsov, a member of the A Just Russia – For Truth faction, asked the head of the FSB, Alexander Bortnikov, to ban the vocalists of the Bi-2 group from entering Russia. It is reported by TASS.

The musicians refused to perform under the banner "Za President" in Omsk, covering it with black cloth. They themselves explained that the concert in Omsk on April 28 did not take place due to the actions of the administration of the Krasnaya Zvezda stadium, where the event was supposed to take place. According to them, representatives began to dismantle the group's set – "a black cabinet around the stage, which provides its visual isolation", although changes to the appearance of the hall were agreed. After that, the group lost several concerts. It was alleged that they were on an informal blacklist of artists.

Earlier, Fontanka published an unofficial “list of banned artists” with 37 names, which is distributed in the internal chats of promoters and concert organizers on Telegram and WhatsApp. All of the listed singers or groups spoke out against the war or were silent about Russia's actions in Ukraine. Among the "forbidden" artists was the group "Bi-2".
