The court reduced the term of the defendant in the New Greatness case Pavel Rebrovsky

The Second Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction in Moscow reduced the term of Pavel Rebrovsky, a defendant in the New Greatness case, from 6 to 5 years in a penal colony. This is reported by Politzek-Info.

On October 29, 2020, the Lublinsky Court of Moscow sentenced Rebrovsky to 6 years in prison. He was found guilty of creating the "extremist community New Greatness" to "overthrow the government." Other defendants in the New Greatness case were sentenced in August of the same year, they received sentences ranging from 4 years probation to 7 years in prison.

The investigation believes that the defendants in the case were allegedly preparing for a constitutional coup and a subsequent seizure of power. The defense stated that a certain Ruslan D., who proposed to create a movement, provoked the accused and was a provocateur from the special services.
