Anatoly Chubais was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome. His condition has stabilized, but he is still in intensive care, said journalist Ksenia Sobchak, citing Chubais' wife Avdotya Smirnova.

“His legs and arms don’t work well, his eyes won’t close, he has partial facial paralysis. Some media write it off as a coronavirus, but he got sick with it two years ago, and got the last vaccination six months ago, ”Sobchak said.

On August 2, the Financial Times, citing a source, wrote that Chubais did not believe that he had been poisoned with chemical weapons.

On July 31, it became known that Anatoly Chubais, ex-representative of Vladimir Putin for sustainable development in international organizations, was in intensive care with a diagnosis of Guillain-Barré syndrome.

The Telegram channel “Caution, news” reported that the room where Chubais was when he felt unwell was examined by specialists in chemical protection suits, police officers interviewed witnesses.
