An employee of the Center for Combating Extremism (Center “E”) was fired from the Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Nizhny Novgorod, who refused to accept denunciations of “fakes” about the Russian army. ASTRA writes about it.
According to the publication, the person in question is called Kirill Belousov. Since the beginning of Russia’s war against Ukraine, Nizhny Novgorod residents have begun to massively write denunciations to the Center “E” on publications in social networks containing criticism of the actions of the Russian army. Some of them were considered by Belousov. Most often, he answered that he could not accept the denunciation, since the application was drawn up incorrectly.
According to ASTRA, one of the applicants, who was refused by Belousov, also denounced him. A check was carried out against the policeman, after which he was fired on June 2. In addition, his actions are checked by the local SC.
After the State Duma adopted a law on “fake” about the actions of Russian military personnel on March 4, a culture of denunciations revived in Russia. According to Network Freedoms, the Russian police have drawn up more than 3,000 protocols on "discrediting" the Russian army. Among the latest known cases is the case of Irina Gen, a 45-year-old English teacher at the Olympic Reserve School. On August 4, the Leninsky District Court of Penza sentenced her to 5 years probation in the case of "fake" about the army based on political hatred. The reason for this was the denunciation of her student.
