On the night of August 3-4, the Russian military fired twice at Nikopol in the Dnepropetrovsk region. 60 rockets from Grads flew through the residential areas of the city. This was announced by the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration Valentin Reznichenko.
According to him, one house was destroyed as a result of shelling, almost 50 were damaged. The fire also touched about 30 household structures, buildings and equipment of three local enterprises and more than 100 solar panels. The rockets destroyed two power lines, leaving more than 3,000 residents of Nikopol without electricity.

Since mid-July, the Russian army has been shelling the Dnepropetrovsk region on a regular basis. Thus, as a result of a missile strike on the Dnieper on July 15, four people were killed , 16 people were injured, and another 7 people ended up in the hospital. On July 18, in the Sinelnikovsky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region, a Russian missile attack destroyed warehouses with five thousand tons of grain.
