Employees of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Yaroslavl detained a 22-year-old young man who tried to spoil the Z-flower bed. This is reported by the portal PROgorod. During the interrogation, which was recorded on camera, the detainee explained that he tried to destroy the “Z” symbol, as he was “against all this”, but now he “fully supports” the RF Armed Forces.
“Delivered for damage to state property, which was the symbol Z. I wanted to destroy it, because I was against all this. And now I fully support the armed forces. Russian. I am completely sorry about what happened. Emotions, stupidity and youth forced me to do this.
As a result, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up against the young man under the article for public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. He faces a fine of up to 50,000 rubles.
Before the start of the war in Ukraine, the symbols "Z" and "V" were applied to Russian military equipment. After that, the Russian Ministry of Defense began to use these symbols as support for the Russian military. In many cities of Russia, flash mobs are held using these symbols, often state employees, students or children are driven to them. For example, the Kazan hospice staged a flash mob with the participation of child patients, their parents and staff – they all lined up in the shape of a large letter "Z" on the street. The symbol was banned in Ukraine , Lithuania and Germany .
