The Ministry of Justice recognized the incompetence of 22-year-old linguist Danila Mikheev, with the help of which they fabricated cases against the opposition

The Ministry of Justice, in response to requests from lawyers, twice acknowledged the incompetence of 22-year-old linguist Danila Mikheev, with the help of which they fabricated cases against oppositionists and activists. The department's letters were at the disposal of Mediazona.

The Ministry of Justice considered that Mikheev “does not have the necessary professional competencies to conduct linguistic research”, since he does not have a higher linguistic education, psychological education and certificates of additional professional education in the specialties “Research of speech activity products” and “Psychological research of information materials”.

Mikheev's only document of education is a bachelor's degree in conflictology, which does not indicate that he has sufficient competencies in the field of linguistic forensics, the Ministry of Justice concluded.

Mikheev over the past three years has become one of the leading linguistic experts on political affairs, wrote Pavel Chikov, head of the Agora human rights group. The Insider has already told how law enforcement agencies massively arrested activists, oppositionists, human rights activists, based on the expertise of Mikheev. At the same time, Mikheev was not listed in the all-Russian register of forensic organizations of the company. While still a 4th year student at the Social University (RGSU), Mikheev reported on fellow students in the FSB, which he himself told DOXA and Novaya Gazeta . According to him, he helped in "capturing real terrorists, extremists and those who have not yet grown up to their category."
