Arkady Dvorkovich, who worked in Russian government structures for more than 18 years, served as Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government and was an assistant to Russian President Vladimir Putin for four years, was again re-elected to the post of President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE). He has occupied it since October 2018.
Dvorkovich won 157 votes against 16, Interfax writes. In addition to him, the Ukrainian Andrei Barishpolets claimed this post.
