Relatives of Russian serviceman Leonid Savin, who was considered missing after the sinking of the cruiser Moskva, received a death certificate. Now the soldier is officially declared dead, his brother Vladimir Savin said, according to the We Can Explain project.

“A criminal case has been created, but nothing will be known until the cruiser is raised,” he said.

Earlier, the soldier’s brother said that Savin was drafted into the fleet on July 2, 2021, he was a conscript and was not going to sign a contract.

Yegor Dmitrievich Shkrebets, a conscripted sailor, senior supply officer, officially recognized by the General Staff as a participant in hostilities as part of the crew of the cruiser Moskva, died.
