Konstantin Tulinov, a Russian who fought in Ukraine and died there, whose "feat" Nikita Mikhalkov spoke about in the Besogon program, was a member of the "active" in the Kresty pre-trial detention center and participated in the torture of those arrested. Fontanka and the project from Gulagu.net wrote about this earlier, the Agency drew attention .
In Besogon, Mikhalkov describes Tulinov's biography: at the age of 16, he received his first suspended sentence, followed by "robbery, drugs and several walkers." In the spring of 2022, Tulinov decided to go to the front, where he died by blowing himself up with a grenade when three “nationalists” approached him, his colleague said.
“He knew what to die for. He felt his need there. He wanted to atone for his past life, ”Mikhalkov commented on this story.
In 2019, the Gulagu.net project published a video of people being beaten up in the St. Petersburg pre-trial detention center "Crosses" in the so-called "press huts". Those who collaborated with the leadership of the pre-trial detention center were provided with "favorable conditions of detention."
The project also published a photo of the prisoners who had T-shirts with the inscription “UFSIN asset is one”, Tulinov was among them. According to Fontanka, it was Tulinov (nicknamed "Red") who played "one of the main roles" in the asset.
On one of the videos published by Gulagu.net, the arrested man, reading from a piece of paper, made the following statement: “Gosha and Ryzhy are just wonderful, just wonderful people. I am very grateful to them for what they do for me. What I told you yesterday was a mistake caused by the clouding of my mind. I understand them and fully approve of what they have done. I can’t imagine life in this pre-trial detention center without them.”
After the publication of Gulagu.net, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case, in May last year, Tulinov and two other prisoners received a sentence under the article on extortion with the use of violence as part of a group of persons.
