On the night of August 9-10, the Russian military fired on Marganets and the Mirovsky mass of the Nikopol district of the Dnepropetrovsk region. As a result, 11 people died and 13 were injured. This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Civil Administration (RAC) Valentin Reznichenko.
According to him, the Russian military fired at the area twice from "Gradov". 80 rockets flew into residential areas. 10 out of 11 people died in Marganets. Another woman died in Vyshetarasovka of the Mir community, her house was destroyed from a direct hit by a shell.
Reznichenko writes that in Marganets, as a result of the shelling, 20 high-rise buildings, the Center for the provision of administrative services, the palace of culture, a hostel, two schools, the city council building and several other administrative premises were damaged. Also in the city, a power line was disabled, because of which several thousand people were left without electricity.
Throughout July and August, Russia regularly shells the Dnepropetrovsk region. So, on the night of August 3-4, the Russian military fired at Nikopol twice with 60 Grad rockets. On July 15, as a result of a missile attack on the Dnieper, four people were killed , 16 were injured, and another 7 people ended up in the hospital. On July 18, in the Sinelnikovsky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region, a Russian missile attack destroyed warehouses with five thousand tons of grain.
