In the Moscow region, the house of a former employee of Channel One Marina Ovsyannikova is being searched. She told OVD-Info about this.
According to her lawyer Dmitry Zakhvatov, the search is being carried out in connection with the spread of "fake news" about the army, he also noted that the security forces did not wait for his arrival and "broke into the house."
After the start of the war in March, during the evening news broadcast on Channel One, Ovsyannikova appeared in a live frame behind the back of the presenter Ekaterina Andreeva with a poster “Stop the war! Don't believe the propaganda, they lie to you here."
The next day, Ovsyannikova was fined. She went to Germany, but returned in July. After that, she was fined twice under the article on “discrediting” the army – for a post on Facebook and for a comment she gave at the court on the day the measure of restraint was chosen for politician Ilya Yashin.
On July 15, Ovsyannikova went on a picket in the center of Moscow. In her hands she held a poster with the inscription “Putin is a killer” and a mention of Ukrainian children killed by Russia. At Ovsyannikova's feet lay children's toys in red paint.
