Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko has two daughters, one of them has US citizenship, and the second has the right to receive it. This was found out by investigators from Navalny LIVE.
According to them, Krivoruchko's wife is Miss Moscow 2001 Ekaterina Toropova, who in 2007 received a passport in her husband's surname. In 2001, the media described her victory in the competition as follows: “She lived in the States for three years, she knows three languages.”
The Navalny LIVE team found out that on August 4, 2012, the couple had a daughter. The investigators found out the official's passport number and thanks to this they were able to establish that on July 27, 2012 he flew to Miami, and on August 10, almost a week after the birth of his daughter, he flew out of America. This indicates that the child was born in the US and therefore was eligible for US citizenship. According to American laws, everyone who was born in the United States receives it. The Navalny LIVE team was able to find the details of the American passport of the official's eldest daughter.
The second daughter of Krivoruchko also has the right to obtain US citizenship. She was born on September 23, 2016, and it was in the USA that Ekaterina Krivoruchko was at that time. She arrived in Miami on 19 August and departed on 14 October. Investigators could not find her passport details.
Krivoruchko himself, 6 years before his appointment to the Ministry of Defense, visited the United States 26 times. Most often in Miami. In 2011, he opened the company 5256 Fisher Island Drive there, to which he registered the apartment and made repairs in it. The 225-square-meter apartment has three bedrooms, expensive furniture, a private elevator, and more worth several million dollars. Later, Krivoruchko rewrote it to an employee of his company, Mikhail Tiraturyan. According to media reports, he was supposed to arrange sales of Kalashnikov products in the United States, which was headed by Krivoruchko.
In Russia, Navalny LIVE found out that Krivoruchko also owns several luxury properties. In 2019, he purchased a house with an area of 1492 square meters and a land plot of 35 acres on Rublyovka worth more than 500 million rubles. Another 116 undeclared acres are in long-term use by his company.
