The body of the sailor of the cruiser “Aurora” was found under the bridge in St. Petersburg. A criminal case was opened on “bringing to suicide”

Rescuers found the body of 19-year-old sailor of the Avrora cruiser Vyacheslav Demidenko, who allegedly jumped off the Sampsonevsky bridge in St. Petersburg, a few meters from the place of the "fall". This was reported to Fontanka in the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The military investigation opened a case under Article 110 of the Criminal Code (“Incitement to Suicide”). According to Fontanka, the motive for the act was the desire to "show colleagues their prowess."

The cousin of the deceased sailor, Vadim Demidenko , told Gazeta.ru that he did not believe in the suicide version.

“What they are now describing about suicide is not about him at all. I think it's a coincidence. Many options could have happened, but he certainly would not have done this intentionally. Vyacheslav is an ordinary guy who had no problems. All is well in the family. And he could always stand up for himself.

According to him, his brother was called to the Aurora from Kaliningrad in July, the oath was to take place on August 21.
