The “DPR” announced the charges against five more foreigners who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Three of them face the death penalty

Another five foreigners who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were charged in the “DPR” court. It is reported by RIA Novosti. Three of them – Swedish citizen Matthias Gustavsson, Croatian citizen Vekoslav Prebeg and British citizen John Harding – face the death penalty.

They are charged with the following crimes:

— Mathias Gustavsson (Sweden) — participation in hostilities as a mercenary and training for the violent seizure of power;

— Vekoslav Prebegu (Croatia) — participation in hostilities as a mercenary and training for the violent seizure of power;

— John Harding (Britain) — participation in hostilities as a mercenary and training for the violent seizure of power;

-Andrew Hill (Britain) – participation in hostilities as a mercenary;

—Dylan Healy (UK) — mercenary recruitment.

Under the criminal code of the self-proclaimed "DPR", Hill faces up to seven years in prison. Healy – up to eight years.

None of the foreigners agreed with the accusations.

On June 9, the “DPR” sentenced to death three foreign mercenaries who took part in the war on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the “DPR” and “LPR”. Two British men, Aiden Eslin and Sean Pinner, and Moroccan Saadoun Brahim were sentenced to death by firing squad. In this regard, the UK sent a note of protest to Russia.

On July 15, the death of a Briton who was captured by the Russian military, Paul Ury, was reported. As stated by the “ombudsman” of the “DPR” Daria Morozova, the Briton was captured in April while trying to break through the checkpoint.
