The journalist of “MK” Lev Speransky was searched in the case of “libel against Alisher Usmanov”

The house of Lev Speransky, a journalist from the Moskovsky Komsomolets propaganda campaign, was searched. The video with him is published by MK in the Telegram channel.

The employee of the pro-Kremlin media himself claims that the search at his house took place in the case of libel against billionaire Alisher Usmanov and extortion from Kazakh businessman Kenes Rakishev. "Moskovsky Komsomolets" in the news about the searches at Speransky's noted that "according to Lev, he never wrote about people whose names were given to him by the security forces in connection with the investigation." At the same time, MK does not name their names.

Earlier in August, a court arrested Alexandra Bayazitova, a journalist and founder of the Hellish Grandmothers economic Telegram channel , who was detained in Moscow for two months. She is accused of involvement in extorting money from Promsvyazbank for not publishing negative information about him. The journalist herself said that the reason was the post about the theft of money by the bank's management.

Before that, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested three administrators of the Scanner Telegram channel Evgeny Moskvin, V. Malushenko and Alexei Slobodenyuk – they are suspected of large-scale fraud (part 3 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Baza claims that several other political and economic channels (including Infernal Grandmas) were allegedly part of the same network, their administrators are accused of extorting money from Rostec in exchange for not publishing unfavorable data for the state corporation. Among these channels, in addition to Bayazitova's Infernal Grandmas, are Financial Guard, E-Magic, Riddle and Mamkin Financier. The authors of the latter told Baza that they were not affiliated with any network.
