Justice Department calls three Canadian organizations “undesirable”

The Ministry of Justice has declared the Canadian Ukrainian Congress, the Canadian Macdonald-Laurier Institute and the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada “undesirable”.

The prosecutor's office recognized these organizations as "undesirable" on August 4, and on August 19 they were added to the list.

Now there are already 65 foreign non-governmental organizations in the register of the Ministry of Justice.

The Canadian Ukrainian Congress is a public organization that brings together political, public, cultural organizations of Ukrainians in Canada and Ukrainian Canadian churches. The central office is in Winnipeg.

The Macdonald-Laurier Institute is a think tank headquartered in Ottawa.

The Ukrainian National Federation of Canada is a non-profit organization of Ukrainian Canadians headquartered in Toronto.
