Roskomnadzor introduced “coercive measures” against Telegram, TikTok, Zoom, Discord and Pinterest for not deleting “forbidden information”

Roskomnadzor took "enforcement measures" against Telegram, TikTok, Zoom, Discord and Pinterest for not deleting prohibited information at the request of the authorities. The agency announced this on its Telegram channel.

Now search engines will have to inform users that companies are violating Russian law. We are talking about non-compliance with the procedure for deleting prohibited information and the main obligations stipulated by federal law No. 236-FZ "On the activities of foreign persons on the Internet in the territory of the Russian Federation."

Roskomnadzor added that "coercive measures" against foreign companies will be canceled after the complete elimination of violations of the law.

Earlier it was reported about the introduction of the same measures against Wikipedia, Google and Twitch. Roskomnadzor received a refusal from Internet services to remove information about the war in Ukraine, which the department considers "fake".
